The Ultimate Costa Rica Vacation Giveaway to SAVE Dogland Shelter
We are trying to raise money to keep Dogland Shelter open forever. This is a long term goal that must be realized. Now when you make a shelter donation it counts towards our Ultimate Vacation Giveaway. We will be giving away 200 Costa Rica Vacations for 2 valued at over $250,000.
For every $1 donated to Dogland Shelter, you will be automatically entered into our giveaway for one chance to win a vacation to Costa Rica for 2. The more you donate the more chance you have of winning.
Every 5000 entries we get we will draw a name and the lucky winner will win a vacation for 2 to Costa Rica.
Chances of winning
- $1 = 1 in 5000 chance of winning
- $5 = 1 in 1000 chance of winning
- $100 – 1 in 50 chance of winning
And so on. You can donate any amount from $1 to $1000.
After you donate - Visit the Facebook Vacation Giveaway Page and type in "I ENTERED" on the Wall - this will help to keep a visual public record of all entries.

RULES
- To enter you must be 18 years or older
- Employees or family of Dogland Shelter or CR Referrals are not eligible.
- Each dollar donated to Dogland Shelter will also count as 1 entry to the vacation giveaway.
- Odds of winning on 1 entry are 1 in 5000
- Each drawing will be conducted every time we reach 5000 entries
- The more you donate, the more entries it counts for and the better your odds are of winning.
- We will be doing this until we reach our goal of 1 million entries and are giving away 200 VACATIONS to Costa Rica for every 5000 entries with support from CR Referrals - Costa Rica Travel Experts.
- After reaching 5000 entries and choosing a winner, all previous entries are null and void. If you want to try and win the next round it will require another donation to Dogland.
- To our current long term dog sponsors of Dogland, if you wish to enter the raffle you must make a separate one time donation to do so.

- After you donate, visit us back here on the Facebook Ultimate Costa Rica Vacation Page and post on the wall “I ENTERED’ – This is not mandatory, but helps to keep a visual public record of entries. All entries are recorded in PayPal. Please make a note of the vacation giveaway with your paypal donation
The Vacations
- 200 vacations for 2 are being offered with a combined value of over $250,000
- 8 days 7 nights accommodations (3 star hotels) over 100 hotels to choose from all over Costa Rica
- 4×4 Rental with Basic Insurance and GPS
- 4 adventure tours for 2 – You get to choose
- All Vacation Taxes are included with exception of $28 departure tax paid at the airport
- Vacations are valued at $1500 each depending on time of year traveling
- Winners in the vacation giveaway need to use the vacation within 1 year of winning the trip
- For donations made from within Costa Rica, if a vacation experience is not wanted, and your name is chosen, you can opt to receive a payout of $1500.00
- International Airfare is NOT included
